Web Browser Troubleshooting Workflow

Unfortunately, it is not possible to create a workflow for general web browser problems due to the vast amount of problems that may occur in a web browser. This is a general list of things to check for when troubleshooting web browser issues. 
  • Check the time, date, and time zone on the computer. Make sure this is correct before moving on.
  • Don't use a Military computer.
  • Reset your password. If you did reset your password, log off of the computer and log back in.
  • Clear out the browser cache.
  • Try a different web browser.
  • Check for toolbars and add-ons. Remove them if present.
  • Update Java on the computer.
  • Remove all Java installs from the computer and install the newest one from scratch.
  • Try a wired connection instead of Wireless, or vice versa.
  • Check for multiple anti-virus applications.
